The Butchers (film)

The Butchers (released under the titles Death Factory and The Factory) is a 2014 horror movie directed by Steven Judd, with a script by David Dittlinger and Stephen Durham. The story begins when Simon, traveling on a bus with his brother Brian and about a dozen other passengers, has a nightmare about killing his abusive father with a club after his father murdered their mother. Meanwhile, in a nearby ghost town, a landowner meets a lawyer named JB, who wants to buy the property—especially a museum dedicated to serial killers like Albert Fish, John Wayne Gacy, Jack the Ripper, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ed Gein, and the Zodiac, called "The Death Factory." When the landowner refuses to sell the museum separately, JB stabs him and prepares an occult ritual using a Book of the Dead and blood samples from the museum displays.

Elsewhere, the bus breaks down, and the passengers go looking for help while the driver stays behind—then disappears with the vehicle. The group reaches the ghost town, and while the others argue about what to do, two passengers, Star and Ren, wander off and find JB’s belongings. For fun, they read from the Book of the Dead, accidentally bringing Fish, Gacy, Dahmer, Gein, the Zodiac, and the Ripper (revealed to be a lesbian) back to life. JB tries to escape from Fish, but Star is killed by Gein, and Ren is killed by the Zodiac. Simon breaks Fish’s neck, causing Fish to disintegrate into dust that enters Simon’s body. The other killers start fighting among themselves: Gacy stabs Bill, the Ripper dismembers Nicole, JB guts Candi, Gein stabs Dahmer, and then JB bludgeons Gein. Simon stabs Gacy and the Ripper, absorbing their power as he did with Fish’s, while Gein absorbs Dahmer’s and JB absorbs Gein’s. JB then confronts Simon and the remaining passengers, impaling Simon, but his friends resurrect him using the Book of the Dead, allowing Simon to snap JB’s neck. The Zodiac overpowers Simon, but the others set the Zodiac on fire and hit him with the landowner’s car, then drive off with Simon. The bus driver, implied to be Satan, reappears and revives JB, saying, "You think you can steal from me, and there won't be Hell to pay? Or should I say, repay? C'mon, son, you've got work to do."
